Question #1:
How is Obama going to plug the leaks?
Obama Insider Former Car Czar Rattner Rats on ObamaFormer Obama administration car czar Steven Rattner is coming out with a new book that depicts him swashbuckling through the financial crisis and also shows Obama as "out to get" the car companies and the administration making political decisions about how to deal with bankrupt automakers GM and Chrysler.
Rattner, a former New York Times reporter in Washington, made a mint as a hedge funder, became a massive Democratic donor and returned to D.C. as Obama's point man during the bailout and takeover of GM and Chrysler. He's since been ensnared in a SEC investigation into his firm's efforts to leverage political influence and favors to win government investment deals.
But Rattner's working on his image. He signed up Obama golf partner and billionaire New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a client and now is launching his book "Overhaul" about his time in the administration.
The Huffington Post got a leaked copy and there is plenty there that will play into this years' elections - especially since this is the first kiss-and-tell book from the Obama team.
Key points from the article and excerpts:
-When Obama was told of the plan to pay GM CEO Rick Wagoner a $7.1 million severance package after Obama ordered that he be sacked, Rattner writes: "Suddenly I felt that I was indeed in the presence of a community organizer..."
-Rattner describes presidential political adviser David Axelrod coming to car meetings armed with poll data to support the takeover and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel identify Congressmen in whose districts large Chrysler facilities were located.
-"[Obama's economic team] veered dangerously close to having the government take control of the two most troubled banks, Bank of America and Citigroup."
-"If his team had linked arms with the outgoing administration, as President Bush's advisers had proposed, billions of dollars could well have been saved."
-Rattner says Chief of Staff Rahm Emanual dictated Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's schedule, public appearances and staff selections.
-He says Obama economic advisers Larry Summers and Austan Goolsbee and FDIC Chair Sheila Bair as enemies who slowed down decision making with infighting
-Rattner said Obama was frustrated with the auto companies from the start: "Why can't they make a Corolla?" he has Obama asking.

Question #5:
Who do you girls feel you always meet?
i was reading a comment and i found this funnyi did a little reversion to it so just choose one
p.s. also feel free to add other types you've met but don't add your love life (no one really gives a shit, they just pretend to listen even if you do say you listen you really aren't so don't lie to yourself)
1) The “Good-Looking But Clueless Guy”. Sure, the guy is gorgeous, tan, maybe athletic, and might be popular. He also has a disturbingly huge affection for yelling nonsensical phrases at his “friends” and consuming vast quantities of Natty Light or getting high, whichever is the closest to him. When not bragging about his skills (whatever it may be), he’s talking loudly about how trashed he got at an “epic” party last weekend. Sadly, the guy can’t spell worth shit and usually forgets your name in a week.
2) The “Loves-His-Friends-More-Than-You-Guy”. This is the guy where you met him in your classes, clubs, or your dorm. You always eat with him and his “pals”, always watch TV with him and his “pals”, and always hang out with him and his “pals.” His “bros” always seem to call him at 4 AM on Saturday, drunk and giggly. He always seems to gravitate toward his “bros” to watch movies such as Zombieland or The A-Team. His “bros” have no problem belching and scratching themselves in front of you. No romance can come of this for the both of you (you and your boyfriend), you feel.
3) Mr. Right Now or the “GRINDER”. He’s the drunken guy with a dopey grin who comes up to you at a party and asks you to dance. You agree politely, perhaps out of pity, only to become trapped for the next 20 minutes as he proceeds to grind against you in a robotic side-to-side motion, like a demented bobble-hipped hula doll. He thinks because you’re dancing with him right now, he’s going to get some play tonight. He is highly delusional and fucking wasted every time you meet.
4) The “Actor”. This guy can be truly wonderful – sensitive, funny, intelligent. There’s only one small problem: there’s a good chance that he’s gay. On the slim chance that he is straight, he’s an actor (read: narcissist). Sure, he might be Brad Pitt’s doppelganger, but hearing for the millionth time about how he was this close to getting cast in Spielberg’s latest film – if it weren’t for “Hollywood politics *****,” of course – gets old really fast. Sadly, you don’t know what is worse, his annoying talks of fame or the fact he knows more about makeup than you?
5) Mr. Taken. This guy stands out immediately from the crowd: he’s confident but not arrogant, funny but not crass, laid-back but with impeccable style. Only problem: he’s practically married to his long-term girlfriend of 5 years from high school or middle school, who just happens to go to a different high school or middle school or university over five hours away, and yet he is loyal as a sick puppy. Although you’re deeply touched to discover that not all guys cheat on their girlfriends while away at college, you really begin to hate that bitch who found him first.
6) The Ex: He ripped your heart out and trampled on it by making out with a random skank on spring break/at a party/whatever. You break up (not the first time). You spend the next few months alternating between bawling your eyes out and ranting to your girlfriends about how much of an ass he was. He IMs/calls/texts you one weekend at 2 AM, wanting to go out and maybe get some booty from you. You get nostalgic for how ‘good’ things were between you. You both get drunk and hook up. You kinda-sorta start seeing each other again. You remember how much it actually sucks to go over to his place, hoping for a romantic evening, when in reality you always end up falling asleep while watching him play Grand Theft Auto or Halo or COD. You never get a chance to discuss what you want out of the relationship, and he never introduces you as his girlfriend. You break up again (not the first time).
7) The Jock: this guy isn’t actually on varsity, but you’d never know it by the way he dresses and talks. Apparently, playing 3 sports a year in high school or middle school wasn’t enough for him, so now he’s involved in over a half dozen intramurals: baseball, basketball, hockey, crew, dodgeball, polo, underwater basket-weaving – you name it, he’s played it and has the t-shirt for the week-long tournament to prove it. In fact, this guy doesn’t own a piece of clothing that doesn’t have some race, tournament, or team name emblazoned across it. Sure, he may have a fantastic body, but there’s a reason your friends and sometimes you never see him: if you’re lucky, you might be able to catch him from 10:15-10:25 PM every other Tuesday, when he has a break between racquetball and karate.
8) Mr. Nice Guy or the YES Man: You meet this unassuming guy in one of your extracurriculars or classes, and he seems decent enough. He’s somewhat quiet, got a corny sense of humor, and is too laid back for personal drama. He’s more than happy to
Question #6:
Classic Army m15a4 carbine problems help please?
Hello. I'm having a very frustrating problem with my air soft gun. When I first bought the gun I had to buy a battery for it. It was a low grade 8.6v. I fired my gun for a little and then it would lock up. I would hear a clicking in the handle. I took it to my local airsoft community tech team and they said it was the battery. So I buy a new battery, a good one and it fired for a little bit and did the same thing. I noticed it happens when I put it on Full-Auto. Could it be the magazine? Is the gun jamming?Question #7:
My "Marines Vs Army-Marines overcome all Essay?
Any opinions or the "natural auto-bias defense comments" welcomed. Oh & there is no need for a "We all fight on same team, same country blah blah blah line- I know this. This is an essay about quality of training.U.S. Marine Corp versus U.S. Army: Marines overcome all
U.S. Marines have proven more of an elite military force than that of the U.S. Army. Throughout American history since the development and birthright of the reputable U.S. Marine Corp and the liberated U.S. Army, there has been an ongoing rival of interest within these two respected military branches along with a controversial dispute in civilian society on which of these two branches posses the most significantly induced training, organized troops, availability Combat support and overall endurance and readily preparation for War. Since the U.S. Marine Corp training capabilities and training far more exceed those of the U.S. Army for reasons which will further be emphasized, I strongly believe through my personal experience and perception that the U.S. Marine Corps is the most proficiently utilized, well organized U.S. Governed Armed Force ever developed since their establishment dated in 1775. First of all, the U.S. Marine Corps has a partnered service agreement with the U.S. Navy under the Department of the Navy. The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) and Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps are the head leaders of their respected services, Who in which reports directly to the Secretary of the Navy, a civilian who heads the Department of the Navy. As a result of this organized relationship, the U.S. Marine Corps have a joining force more so than any branch of the United States Military. For example, the Marines are initially more deployable , as the Marine Amphibious Units are afloat on U.S. Navy ships, including light armored vehicles and helicopters. As the U.S. Army showed in Desert Shield, to bring a fully-equipped Army division takes several days to weeks of slow transport ships and heavy C-5 starlifter aircraft. U.S. Army Maj. Gen Frank Lowe once said, “The safest place in Korea was right behind a platoon of Marines. Lord, how they could fight!” Statement made after the Korean War.
Secondly, because the military is under civilian control, it is the duty of each and every citizen to ensure that our military branches are the most effective they can possibly be, and receives the best tools and most effective training that can be procured. There is without a doubt no comparison between the U.S. Marine Corps Basic Training versus the U.S. Army Training. Basic Training for a promising future Marine consist of a thirteen-week endurance and overall physical and mental toughness journey consisting of culminating events, with a finalized “rite of passage” test called “The Crucible”. All Recruits must use all elements of Basic Training to put to the test. Instilled discipline with a gender segregated environment, the U.S. Marine Corps eliminates all means of distraction to enhance and bring forth Basic Training to its most promising level with a more devined approach. Training is kept strong and consistant with out the differential strength and agility categorized between both opposing genders. Consequently, newly formed U.S. Marines consider themselves superior to other soldiers inducing understandable resentment from the U.S. Army.
In summary, W. Thomas Smith Jr. article “Return of the Marines” National Review, March, 2004 illustrates how during the first Gulf War in 1991, Iraqi soldiers nicknamed the U.S. Marine Corp soldiers as “Angles of Death”. Many soldiers were dropped along the coastline near the fearless Marine platoons only to be paralyzed by the acclaimed great elite force. The U.S. Marine Corp was the very first ground force in Vietnam.
Question #8:
How do you get 2 xbox 360's to work on 1 router with open NAT?
Before you answer please ready carefully.Let me explain what happens. My friend an I both hook up our 360's with ethernet cables into my netgear router. We start up our xboxes, connect to xbox live, start up Modern Warfare 2, get into a party together, and with our friends. One of us have an Open nat while the other has Moderate nat. (it chooses who is open and who is moderate by whoever turns their xbox on first. First to turn it on is Open, second is moderate.) ok. Then we start a search for a match "Team Death Match" it puts us in a game lobby game counts down and starts just fine. Someone that is not my friend or myself is host, everything is fine we can play games over and over again as long as one of us is not host. . . Now when that host leaves the game auto searches for the best host. If my friend or myself gets host problems start to happen. As long as people join our game lobby it all ok. So say i get host my friend and i are in a game lobby and we need 5 more people to join before the game will start. So 5 people join us, the game counts down and the match begins. So far so good. So we go back to the game lobby after the match is over. some people leave and there are another 4-6 slots that need to be filled. but now instead of people joining our lobby the game puts our people into another lobby, this is all a feature in the game that should work fine. but since i got host it doesnt bring my friend into the lobby with the rest of our party. So since he is not in the lobby i back out of the game lobby. Now i try to regather the party. so i invite my friend. he joins just fine (sometimes he cant join me.) So he is now in the in the party and we are ready to choose "Team Death Match" again. We start our search I get into a lobby and some of my party also gets into a lobby, but my friend is not in the lobby. on his screen it shows he is. but he isnt on my and my parties screen. From now on my friend can not be in the same game as me unless we restart the router. but then as soon as we either of us get host again we have the same exact problem.
The router i have is a CG814WG v2. I have had the same problems with other routers so i am not sure if it is only a router problem.
Please answer with fixes not possibilities.
Question #9:
NBA LIVE 10 PS3 HELP?
I need help with my NBA Live 10 Dynasty Mode.I currently am about $900k under the cap, with the Phoenix Suns, and I am approaching the middle of the season. As you know, in the offseason, LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Boozer, etc. will be free agents. I have made a plan on how to sign several of these players, but I need some help with it first.
My plan is this:
Trade Grant Hill ($10m) and Robin Lopez ($1.5m) to the Hornets for Peja Stojakovic ($13.3m). Hill has 3 years left on his contract, while Peja only has ONE. After this, in the offseason, I will NOT renew Amar'e Stoudemire ($13.3m), OR Peja Stojakovic ($13.3m). This will give me approximately $24m in cap space. I will then use this space to sign LeBron James AND Dwyane Wade. This should just about use up all of my cap space. THEN, I will use my MLE (Mid Level Exception) to sign Chris Bosh. That would leave my starting line-up at this:
C- Chris Kaman
PF- Chris Bosh
SF- LeBron James
SG- Dwyane Wade
PG- Steve Nash
As you can see, this is a DREAM TEAM. However, I need some help to make this happen.
How do I choose not to resign Amar'e or Peja. I do not want them auto resigned, and have my WHOLE team messed up. Also, do you think that this plan will even work? Is it worth trying?
So, I need to know the following:
1. How do I choose not to resign players?
2. How much will the player salaries increase as free agents?
3. Will this plan even work?
4. Do you think this plan is a good one?
Question #10:
Women, beware of men like this...?
I married my husband a few years ago. Of course, when we were first together, we had money, I owned a successful business, we both owned our own houses. We had plans for our future, and enjoyed family gatherings. He had been drinking daily, then stopped 2 months into our relationship. He was happy and healthy. We were very much in love, we were a great team, we brought out the best in each other. Had lots of great sex, he was attentive, lustful, and very focused on me. Then he began drinking again, and when I would ask him any type of question, he'd get intimidating and defensive. He started to check out other girls with no regard to my feelings, then deny he'd done it. He spent money, his, mine and he racked up the credit cards, without my knowledge-at first. Whenever I'd ask him about money, he'd blow me off, or get furious. He then changed to the extreme in the bedroom. We'd have sex, but wouldn't take my shirt off (I was suspicious by this time, and was observing his behaviour if you can understand) or even look at me. It was not allowed to be talked over because anything he didn't want to discuss, would not be discussed. I found out he let my bills go to the collection agencies, yet his were paid. He had a dog that bit me, and refused to get rid of him. The dog ruined my business as a result. I worked at home, and even kenneled, the dog was intimidating to my prospective clients. He'd kick the dog, and I blew up at him. I began to fall out of love with him and by this point he was screaming at me, swearing at me and shoving me, but at least the dog wasn't getting the brunt of his ignorance. It was insanity, I knew it then like I know it now. He went from shoving me to punching me. I was in shock. He let the insurance on my house lapse and there was a fire. By this time I was on auto-pilot, unemployed for the first time in my adult life, broke, broken, and he made it so I was totally dependent on him. He neglected my feelings, my body, my home of 20 years and his dog. He abused his dog right in front of me. He abused me. He weighs 100 lbs. more than I do. He's a liar, an alcoholic and a momma's boy (and she's a backstabbing B!TCH, that apple didn't fall far...). She has white plates, he HAD white plates (every time he'd punch me, I'd break one of his mommies plates), she has white towels, he has white towels, she doesn't own a dryer, he'd control when the laundry was done so it was hung outside. On and on...For Valentine's Day this year, I gave him the gift of the State and local Police, who took one look at me and threw his sorry, abusive drunk ass out of his own house. He went to live with his mommy and has been there since. He was ordered to bypass Anger Management and go straight to Domestic Violence Counseling. He had the nerve to tell me he's now a MARKED MAN in our small town. Because of the business I ran for nearly 3 decades, I've made a lot of true, solid friends over the years, many of whom I've had to keep from kicking the living sh!t out of him. He'll get his, but it'll come in the form of Karma. She's my best friend and his worst enemy. Girls, if it looks too good to be true, it damn sure is. If he wants to control everything; red flag! (I was so happy to have him take care of the money, he was my husband, it's what he does for a living, why would I think otherwise then?) If he's charming and very, very attentive and focused on YOU; red flag! If he says something in the beginning like, "I can be a little possessive, right?" ; RED FLAG! If he's a control freak (he'd dial his cell for me while HE was driving) ; red flag! If he ever tells you or even insinuates you're "not that smart" ; red flag! I'd love to give you his name, but he's paying the bills here when he's not drinking his paycheck and I'm not pushing it to the point where he will kill me. A shattered cheek, a fractured shoulder blade, a concussion, being choked several times, broken fingers and broken bones in my feet were enough. Some days, I still can't believe this happened, but it did. I'm still healing, in therapy and I lived through one of every woman's worst nightmares. I am now free of his abuse though, and the Police were kind and professional and never made me feel like I was to blame. Women of any age, beware of men like this. There is a book called "The Gift of Fear", by Gavin DeBecker, and in it he states that we are the only animals that will get into a locking metal box with a predator. He's referring to a single female getting into an elevator with a single male. A lot of rape occurs on elevators. The point is this: TRUST YOUR GUT INSTINCTS. If it seems too good to be true, you can bet your life it is. All the fresh flowers, jewelry, dinners out, or new clothes on the planet can't m
Most of your answers were kind. Thanks to those of you who got what I was saying. I can't wait to be able to out this literal son of a b!tch, so that no one else suffers his "charm". He is mentally ill, and the alcoholism is only a symptom. His mother is also mentally ill and is a lonely, difficult, cold and uncaring woman. Take care and be well.
Question #11:
The game just froze on me...you have got to be kidding?
I was playing NCAA Basketball 10 and playing in the NCAA Tournament. They actually had an update you could do so that you could start the tournament with the teams that were really in it. So I decided to start one and use Robert Morris. I am a big fan of underdogs, so I figured why not. I'm not very good at the game, and so I thought for sure I was gonna lose since my first opponent was Villanova. To my surprise, I won 78-65. I was quite pumped, and so I decided to play another game. The second round was against Richmond. Somehow, this one was close, but I still managed to win it 67-61. At this point, I was ecstatic, because I TRULY didn't think I would get anywhere in the tournament. I went to go save the game but then hesitated and decided to play one more game. I had nothing going on, so I figured I might as well try another one. So I started the game, and it froze as soon as it loaded. I sat there for 5 minutes waiting, but no. I was forced to turn it off. Is all of my progress gone? I'm pretty sure the game has an auto-save feature, but would it have saved what I had done? I can't believe this...Question #12:

This explains my absence of AP classes, and my English scores. My math has always been pretty bad.
Can anyone tell me my chances? Thanks!

Question #16:
please help me with this assignment..i don't understand it at all!!?
1. The Project Scope specifies the goals and deliverables of the project ‐‐ what is being developed ‐‐ and the major activities that will be performed to achieve those goals. It includes the
assumptions and tradeoff decisions that were made and identifies major risks. This section
addresses these typical questions:
What is "Planning and Scope?" Why have a project plan? What are the elements of a project
plan? How do I get started on creating a project plan? How does project planning fit into a
product development process? How do I balance features with time to market (scope planning)?
How detailed should my project plan be? Should I spend a lot of time developing a detailed
schedule? How do I plan to handle project risk? How and when do I start forming a crossfunctional
team? I want to outsource part of the development; how should I plan this? Is my
organization's planning behavior on the "fail" list? I don't want to commit to a plan because it
limits my flexibility and documents my poor estimates and incorrect assumptions. When and
how do I "freeze" the project plan?
2. Scheduling and Estimating is the process of turning a well‐formed project vision into a complete
and integrated statement of the work and its duration and resource needs over time. Estimating
work and managing schedules is a project management core competency. It is also a primary
source of conflict in project management. This section addresses these typical questions:
What is Scheduling and Estimating and why do them? What do I do first? What are the steps in
creating a good schedule? What scheduling techniques and tools are available? What is a work
breakdown structure and should I create one before scheduling? How do I create a work
breakdown structure? What estimating techniques and tools are available? How can I create
schedules that don't slip? What is critical chain scheduling and where can I find out more about
it?
3. Project management is often implemented in an ad hoc way, in an uneasy marriage with deeply
entrenched corporate command and control structures. These outmoded corporate structures
are no longer able to effectively accomplish the organization's mission, yet they are extremely
hard to change. How can we establish a project management beachhead in an organization, or
improve our existing project management methodology? This section addresses these typical
questions:
If my company currently has no consistent project management processes or tools, how do we
start improving our ability to manage projects? Once we've decided to get started, what
sequence of activities would we follow to make it really happen? What is executive
management's role in these efforts to improve our project management? What kinds of
obstacles can I expect to hit as we work on improving project management, and how can I
overcome them?
4. As your organization becomes more project oriented, are you experiencing problems of
allocating people and resources across multiple projects? Are new projects created without a
unifying vision or theme? Do you know exactly how many projects your organization is currently
undertaking? And do you know why? Do project team members complain of being "whipped
around" by multiple responsibilities and unclear priorities? This section addresses these typical
questions:
Why do I need to manage multiple projects? What is portfolio management and how does it
help? How do I get started on building a portfolio management system? What problems can I
expect, and what can I do about them? What tools are available for Portfolio Management?
Where can I learn more about portfolio management?
When Chrysler merged with Fiat on June 10, 2009, there was cause for hope and optimism. After an
endless string of bad news, perhaps, the auto industry was not dead yet.
On paper it looked like a good deal for everyone. Fiat would return to the US market and sell its popular
500 (Cinquecentro), Chrysler would acquire a line of cars that consumers might actually buy, and tens of
thousands of workers would keep their jobs.
But the real prize might just be Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat and now CEO of FiatChrysler.
When he first became CEO of Fiat in 2004, Marchionne inherited a company on the brink of failure. It
manufactured a lackluster product line and had suffered more than $12 billion in losses over the
previous five years.
To transform the company he embarked on several strategic and operational projects. He fired senior
managers, upended a bloated bureaucracy, and brought a team of young aggressive managers on board.
Then, he reviewed all projects and killed those that could not pass the market test. And he hired new
designers, and demanded a portfolio of exciting projects that would bring customers back to dealer showrooms.
In less than three years he succeeded in one of the most impressive turnarounds in automotive history.
Now, as part of his plan to grow Fiat into a global compe

Question #18:
L4D: Blood Harvest Finale on Expert?
The only achievements I have left for the first L4D are "Untouchables" and "What Are You Trying to Prove." The only expert campaign I still need is Blood Harvest, but I keep getting caught at the finsle. I search for four players, but since L4D2 came out, no one is on. The people that are are not very good either. How can I beat this finale. The Tanks are my only problem. I have tried the Tank glitch on the roof, but it seems that half the time the Tank does not climb up. He just throws rocks and kills my entire team. The barn works fine, but when the Tank comes, all four of us with auto-shotguns cannot take him down fast enough. If welight hime on fire, then we get smoked or huntered when we run away. Any tips?
BTW: What exactly alerts the horde on this one? There is siren or anything. Also, is there a Jesus spot on this finale like there are on the others? or would the Tank-roof glitch be considered that?

Question #20:
Isn't if funny watching Obama pretend that Wall Street doesn't own his administration?
He also seems upset that banks are still lobbying congress despite getting bailed out. But isn't the congress filled with Democrats who are writing loop-holed filled "reform" as we speak?? The same "reform" Obama is pretending the banks are completely against?? (Didn't the banks basically write the "reform"??)Click Here
"I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of fat cat bankers on Wall Street," Obama told CBS's "60 Minutes."
Obama's Big Sellout
What's taken place in the year since Obama won the presidency has turned out to be one of the most dramatic political about-faces in our history. Elected in the midst of a crushing economic crisis brought on by a decade of orgiastic deregulation and unchecked greed, Obama had a clear mandate to rein in Wall Street and remake the entire structure of the American economy. What he did instead was ship even his most marginally progressive campaign advisers off to various bureaucratic Siberias, while packing the key economic positions in his White House with the very people who caused the crisis in the first place. This new team of bubble-fattened ex-bankers and laissez-faire intellectuals then proceeded to sell us all out, instituting a massive, trickle-up bailout and systematically gutting regulatory reform from the inside.
Financial Reform Moves Forward, With Many Loopholes

As Congress inches toward restructuring U.S. financial regulation, lawmakers in the House and Senate have characterized their respective bills as sweeping and historic.
But proposals focused on consumer protection, privately-negotiated derivatives and credit rating agencies still allow broad exemptions for key players in the financial system. The Huffington Post Investigative Fund reviewed both reform packages and assembled a chart that compares the bills--and their loopholes.
Obama's Wall Street cabinet

A series of articles published over the weekend, based on financial disclosure reports released by the Obama administration last Friday concerning top White House officials, documents the extent to which the administration, in both its personnel and policies, is a political instrument of Wall Street.
Policies that are extraordinarily favorable to the financial elite that were put in place over the past month by the Obama administration have fed a surge in share values on Wall Street. These include the scheme to use hundreds of billions of dollars in public funds to pay hedge funds to buy up the banks’ toxic assets at inflated prices, the Auto Task Force’s rejection of the recovery plans of Chrysler and General Motors and its demand for even more brutal layoffs, wage cuts and attacks on workers’ health benefits and pensions, and the decision by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) to weaken “mark-to-market” accounting rules and permit banks to inflate the value of their toxic assets.
